I am most looking forward to watching 6'4'' Shooting Guard Gary Harris of Hamilton Southeastern. He is widely considered the top player in Indiana in the Class of 2012, and one of the top uncommitted prospects in the country. I have not had the chance to watch him yet this month because while I was at the Adidas Invitational he was not with his team, instead he went to Akron for the King James camp.
This is a great opportunity for players who have yet to make a college decision to impress the scouts in a showcase type environment. The workout begins with a series of drills, including transition offense and defense, a shooting station, rebounding, and ball handling. Then the evening will finish off with 3 rounds of games.
It will be interesting to see if anybody has a break out day and walks away with the college coaches buzzing. I am sure that there will be somebody who will begin to garner more interest after a good workout today. Look for guys such as Jacobby Bledsoe, Mike Crawford, Joe Reed, and Kellon Thomas to have big days.
I will put out a recap of the event later tonight when I get home. For updates throughout the event follow the Indiana Recruiting Guide on Twitter @INrecruitguide.
