Bob Wettig Memorial Tournament Championship
Rivals Tipton and Hamilton Heights met in the finals, and the two great teams did not disappoint the fans. Hamilton Heights brought home the 4th annual Wettig championship, with a 66-61 victory. IU recruit Austin Etherington was named tournament MVP. Senior guard Seth Small stepped up in a big way hitting multiple three's. Austin added 12 points and 8 rebounds, while younger brother Alex contributed 11 points. Senior guard Connor Rich led the Blue Devils with 24 points on 6/9 shooting from deep. Sophomore forward Mike Crawford played a very solid game contributing 11 points and 8 rebounds against the long Etherington brother's in the post. Greg Dickey added 12. Hamilton Heights is now 9-2 on the year, while Tipton is 8-1. These two teams will have a rematch January 28th at Hamilton Heights. That should be a very interesting game!
