The undeniable headline from this weekend would be the commitment of 2013 star prospect
V.J. Beachem. The 6'7'' wing from New Haven H.S. chose the
University of Notre Dame. Beachem is ranked #3 in the state by the
Indiana Recruiting Guide. He is a long, skilled small forward who can shoot the ball well from the outside and create for himself off the dribble. V.J. is a great in-state pickup for Coach Mike Brey at Notre Dame.

Indiana 2014 prospects participated in the John Lucas Midwest Invitational in Louisville, notably, Trey Lyles, Trevon Bluiett, P.J. Thompson, James Blackmon Jr., and Jaquan Lyle.
2012 Point Guard Trey Hendrix of Lebanon plans to visit Middle Tennessee State over his fall break. They will also be coming up to see him in open gym this week.
